At the 2025 Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)National Craft Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada, team members from Cianbro and Starcon — one of The Cianbro Companies — demonstrated their expertise among more than 190 skilled craftspeople from across the country. Earning a spot in this competition, which includes 15 events spanning 11 crafts, is a significant achievement.

Congratulations to our following competitors. We are proud of your representation and accomplishments!

·            Jarrod Sanborn (Cianbro) – won gold and safety awards in millwright

·            Roman Fufalko (Starcon) – won gold in pipefitting (first gold medal in pipefitting for Starcon since 2005)

·            Ben Ginnelly (Cianbro) – won silver in pipe welding

·            Max Owen (Cianbro) – won silver in structural welding

·            Baxter Cole (Cianbro) competed in tig welding

·            Dennis Attaway (Starcon) – competed in millwright

·            Jose Godinez (Starcon) – competed in pipe welding

“What an incredible experience celebrating the 75thAnniversary of ABC and seeing the ABC National Craft Championship in Las Vegas,” reflects Mark Brooks, director of the Cianbro Institute. “My respect for our craft instructors (Jason White and Daron Hanson) increased as I watched them construct the areas for the competition and then to see the effort and attention to detail they displayed in creating a safe and professional appearing area for the respective competitors. The Cianbro Companies were also represented well by our team members who competed and brought home numerous awards. It was a joy to see our competitors do their best, compete well, win, and receive awards on a national stage. We can all be proud of the way our competitors represented our company while showing their talents against competitors from all over the United States.”
