The Business Development Professional will focus on driving a company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and expanding the R. C. Stevens customer base.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the growth of the company with specific focus in Florida and Georgia Regions.
• Facilitate and manage the business development strategy development for the Florida and Georgia Regions.
• Develop new business opportunities for the company with a focus on the Florida and Georgia Regions.
• Leverage existing network to mine for opportunities in our markets; healthcare, industrial process and the public sector.
• Maintain and foster good client relationships and additionally develop new relationships within our markets.

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter, who will be performing construction-related activities, which may include operating a variety of hand and power tools. Job Responsibilities

• Constructs, erects, installs, repairs, finishes walls, drywall and building framework using hand and power tools, while conforming to local building codes.
• Interprets blueprints, sketches, or building plans in preparation of layout to determine dimensions and type of material required.
• Capable of demolition and installation of ceilings, painting, carpeting, tile, and other miscellaneous finishes independently or as part of a team.
• Smooths and finishes surfaces of poured concrete using a variety of hand and power tools including floats, trowels, and screeds.
• Ability to work non-standard hours on occasion.

Qualifications/Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial facilities work.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge in the safe and appropriate use of hand tools and power tools for demolition and carpentry.
• Proficient alone in reading and understanding blueprints.
• Knowledgeable in the assembly/disassembly of concrete forms and the use of concrete pumps, installation of rebar, and placement of concrete is a plus.
• Prior Rigging knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with leveling tools such as laser levels and transits.

The Human Resources Manager will work strategically and operationally to execute the business strategy of R. C. Stevens. This position will work collaboratively with Operations as well as other support areas to meet the needs of the company. The HR Manager will provide support and technical assistance to ensure the proper administration of HR policies and programs while actively managing the alignment of talent. This position will report to the Corporate Director of Operational Human Resources.

We are seeking a talented, industrial and/or commercial Project Engineer that is able to work with the project team to provide technical support around quality controls, blueprint and contract compliance, scheduling, documentation, and engineering means and methods on site. They must also ensure the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and compliant with all federal, state, and local laws. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in proper project planning, value-added engineering means & methods, developing work packages and preparing production indicators/benchmarks, and developing the master schedule.
• Identify any state or local laws relating to environmental compliance and educate our team to ensure understanding and compliance with permit requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Requires a four-year degree in engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience in industrial and/or commercial construction.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods): craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, estimating, schedules, and safety required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Prior understanding of Procore encouraged.

Job Responsibilities

• Actively observe and provide feedback around the crew's work to eliminate at-risk behavior, identify safety issues and help ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Perform injury management including minor first aid, incident root cause investigation and reporting, return to work as needed.
• Conduct daily inspections of job sites actively observing and providing feedback around the crew's work, tools, and equipment to eliminate hazards and identify at-risk behavior; advise on and help ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Take an active role in the planning of upcoming work on the site to help the team identify potential safety issues and solutions.
• Assist with developing, conducting, and documenting the job site safety orientations for all new team members, subcontractors, and other appropriate vendors, visitors, etc.
• Establish emergency planning with project management, including identifying and arranging local emergency and healthcare services, identifying warning signals, evacuation assembly points, and escape routes.
• Develop and set up systems to ensure proper handling of all Hazardous Material Including proper use, storage, shipment, spill control and cleanup, and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with all Safety or Environmental requirements per state and federal regulations.
• Perform periodic industrial hygiene and environmental sampling.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, safety field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in workplace safety in the construction industry (Industrial and/or Commercial) is preferred.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required.

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent who will be responsible for performing a wide range of construction tasks with strict adherence to building standards, working closely with our Project Managers. This role demands attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to ensure that worksite requirements are met, and project specifications are followed. The ideal candidate is a flexible, detail-oriented team player who will be called upon weekly to manage existing client projects. This includes coordinating subcontractor work scopes, scheduling, and logistics to meet project objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate the interpretation of the specifications, resolve problems, and coordinate phases of construction to prevent delays.
• Direct subcontractors and provide leadership in the day-to-day planning and executing of quality work. Plan sequence of activities per proposed schedule and manpower requirements for each phase of construction based on building method, knowledge of available tools and equipment, and personnel resources.
• Confer with supervisory personnel and labor representatives, engineering personnel, inspectors, to resolve complaints and grievances and/or construction problems which may arise.
• Notify subcontractors and suppliers of nonconformance work within 48 hours and follow through with the notifications.

• Ensure that building standards are met, and construction schedules are adhered to. Responsible for thoroughly studying contract documents to become highly familiar with the requirements and proactively planning to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
• Log daily progress and photo documentation timely into project-specific database.
• Serve as a Safety Officer cooperating with our Safety Director to maintain a safe work environment.
• Travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial construction, jobsite management, and project logistics including management of all construction trades.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Higher education in construction management, business management, other construction-based educational programs for commercial construction projects, or relevant discipline is preferred.
• 5+ years using industry-specific construction software for project management, and scheduling, as well as paperless document storage software. Preferably experience using Procore Project Management, MS Project, Sage 300 CRE, Sage Paperless Construction, Textura Payment Management, DocuSign, and MS Office.
• Experience directing project scheduling, utilizing superior organization and time management skills; ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Capable of driving short and long distances to visit project sites, capable of walking project sites including demands of ladders, uneven terrain, and challenging weather conditions, may travel to out-of-town project sites.
• Drug-Free Workplace Program / Background Checks required.
• A valid state driver’s license and driving history that meets company standards is required.
