Although 2020 presented several challenges for Cianbro, our team members pivoted throughout the pandemic, creating innovative solutions to stay safe and deliver excellent outcomes for our clients. Their hard work and dedication have recently been recognized by The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), who have named both Cianbro and Starcon International among the top 200 performers in the country.

Cianbro ranked 18th in the top 200 performers and 12th among the top 100 general contractors. Starcon was ranked 23rd in the top 200 and 15th among general contractors. ABC compiles its annual Top Performers list based on member contractors’ achievements in safety, quality, diversity, project excellence, and special designations, ranked by work hours.

To be eligible, Top Performers must demonstrate world-class safety performance by achieving Gold status or higher in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System, which makes the top-performing contractors up to 655% safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average, according to the ABC 2021 Safety Performance Report.
