Baltimore CFCC Team Members: Three Years Without a Recordable

In the weeks following the Baltimore Fab Shop's attainment of the prestigious SHARP Award from federal and Maryland Labor Department officials, the business unit has reached another significant safety milestone. This week, the Baltimore Shop has surpassed three years without a recordable injury.

"Congratulations and thank you to you and the entire team. Just outstanding!!!" That's how Cianbro Fabrication and Coating Corporation Vice President and General Manager Jack Klimp responded to the news in a message to Safety Supervisor Nick Rossi.

The last OSHA recordable to occur at the Baltimore Shop was recorded on August 14, 2008 -- 1,102 days ago. The last lost time injury among Baltimore's Fab Shop team occurred on December 3, 2002 -- 3,183 days ago.

The Baltimore CFCC team currently holds the top safety record for most consecutive days without a recordable or lost time injury of all Cianbro and Starcon teams.
