Baltimore Fabrication Facility Awarded Top Steel Fabrication Certification

This past Wednesday, August 12, Cianbro’s Baltimore Fabrication Facility was audited and certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) to produce Major Steel Bridges. Additionally, the Baltimore operation received from AISC a Fracture Critical endorsement. Baltimore now has all certificates and endorsements available, a total of five, and is qualified to produce any building or bridge framed with structural steel.

“This is a major achievement,” says Cianbro Fabrication and Coating Corporation General Manager Jack Klimp. “Cianbro Fab and Coat is the first and only fabricator in Maryland to have all of these certifications and endorsements. We’re proud of our team and of all the hard work that went into this accomplishment.”
