Cianbro Earns Concrete Certification

Cianbro has achieved PCI (Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute) Certification S2 status. The achievement is the result of the company having met the erection requirements and having completed a Field Quality Audit Report and an Erector's Post Audit Declaration for our Primary Erection Crew(s) during the Eastern Maine Medical Center parking garage project. That is an 811 space, five level garage that Cianbro completed this past spring. Cianbro is currently constructing another 83 space garage for the City of Bangor, Maine, which will include another PCI audit as standard practice. It is now a requirement of the precast shops to use a PCI certified erector or they receive "demerit points". There is only one other certified erector in Maine, and one other in New Hampshire.
