The Cianbro Irby Joint Venture has set the last new transmission structure on the Maine Power Reliability Program for Central Maine Power, a subsidiary of Iberdrola USA.

For the third time in the past five years, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) has named a Cianbro craft trainer as the top instructor in the nation – this time the honor has been awarded to Power Training Manager Jon Sacks.  

The 2015 National Craft Championships competition in Fort Lauderdale, Florida that saw Cianbro contestants winning three medals in two crafts, while also taking home an award for safety.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) has given national recognition to Cianbro for excellence in the construction of three milestone projects, and followed up by honoring the company for achievements in safety in 2014.

The Departments of Transportation in Maine and New Hampshire have officially launched the construction phase of the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge Replacement Project.

On Thursday, December 11th, Cianbro trucker Tom Closson pointed his spotless Cianbro tractor southbound, pulling a specially decorated trailer from Hale Trailer of Portland, Maine. 

Eastern Maine Development Corporation, the non-profit organization that works to support economic health and a positive business climate in Eastern Maine, has selected Cianbro for the 2014 EMDC Champion of the Year award.

The Cianbro/Middlesex Joint Venture Team received an Eagle Award and the sole Safety Award for the successful completion of the Brightman Street Bascule Bridge Replacement Project. 

The Gary E. Bird Horizon Award was presented at the 34th IRMI Construction Risk Conference to the Cianbro Corporation team of Mike Bennett, Vice President of HSE & HR, and Scott Knowlen, Corporate Health, Safety, Security, & Environmental Manager. This award recognized the team for its innovative loss control program.

For the fourth consecutive year, Cianbro has been named one of the best places to work in Maine among large companies with 250 or more employees.
