Since our incorporation in 1949, Cianbro has led the bridge construction industry. In the Northeast we have successfully completed hundreds of bridge projects, ranging from small simple spans to the high-level crossing between Maine and New Hampshire. In 1980 we expanded our bridge-building capabilities. Since then we have completed projects of various sizes in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Florida, and all of the Northeast. Cianbro anticipates that bridge construction will remain a major segment of our work, with challenges that very few contractors can undertake and complete successfully.
