Since 1967, Cianbro has operated a deepwater marine facility, located at Ricker’s Wharf, in Portland, Maine. The facility contains three acres for laydown, storage, and fabrication, including 520 feet of deepwater frontage. Other features include a 185 foot crane pier for loading/offloading with a 200 ton crane, a barge loading/unloading ramp for rubber tired equipment with rail access to the facility, a berthing dock and dolphins and access to major highways.
This waterfront property has been a support service facility for many construction projects within the Northern New England Region. It is used for storing and maintaining marine equipment, along with all other types of construction equipment, for operations in the southern portion of the region. At this location, Cianbro can perform most major maintenance functions.
