Cianbro’s Fabrication and Coating facility located in Pittsfield, Maine is situated on a 15 acre parcel with 21,000sf of fabrication and 27,000sf of coating work space. The Pittsfield plant is renowned for its experienced workforce and is strategically equipped to handle a wide range of fabrication types including fracture critical welding (AISC Major Bridge Certified). This shop is complemented by Cianbro’s deep water marine facility in Portland, Maine offering the option to assemble modularized components and transport them by water.  In conjunction with the 93,000sf of waterfront at the Fabrication and Coating facility in Baltimore, Maryland, our shops are able to respond to the most diverse fabrication challenges presented by today’s projects in the industrial, power, commercial and bridge sectors.

Quality Certification:

  • A.I.S.C. certified in three categories Steel Building Structures (STD), Simple Steel Bridge Structures (SBR), and Major Steel, Bridge (CBR). and two endorsements: Sophisticated Paint Endorsement (SPE) and Fracture Critical -  Endorsement (F)
  • ASME code shop
