Cianbro completed the construction of two, 12,000-ton, offshore, semi-submersible, oil drilling vessels.

As the first U.S. company to employ the “floatover” mating process, the Cianbro team submerged the pontoons while moving and aligning the 5,500-ton deck box onto the columns to successfully complete the mating phase of construction. Cianbro self-performed all core competencies to complete the final phase of this fast-track project.

Cianbro built a 148,000 sf, five-story Administration Building, also known as “The Cianchette Building”, with seven levels including the basement and an enclosed rooftop mechanical penthouse.  The building boasts a 112 ft x 240 ft footprint with a brick façade, precast-curtain wall, and a daylight basement with a radius at two of the four corners.

Cianbro self-performed the No. 11 Paper Machine rebuild and modernization project—converting paper production from directory grade to supercalender grade A paper.

Cianbro mechanically erected a 1.5 MW General Electric Wind Turbine. This included the transportation of the wind turbine components and construction cranes up a 2.5 mile slope to the mountain summit.

Cianbro constructed a one-mile highway with three bridges to connect Exit 5 on I-295 with Commercial Street on Portland’s waterfront.

Cianbro constructed a state-of-the-art cement plant. With the highest capacity kiln, this project is the largest of Lehigh’s 12 plants and the most modern cement plant in North America.

Cianbro rehabilitated and upgraded a 125 ft high gravity dam with a 288 ft wide spillway containing 20 billion gallons of water from the Loch Raven Reservoir.

Cianbro constructed an 8-inch wafer fabrication plant, which included a 550,000 sf facility with a 40,000 sf clean room.

Cianbro completed the specified warranty items including coatings, electrical, piping, instrumentation, outfitting and structural work on the Polar Adventure, a million barrel oil tanker that is 894 feet long by 152 feet wide.

Cianbro constructed and erected a 930 ft long by 90 ft wide lift span bridge over the Quinnipiac River inlet at New Haven Harbor—the largest lift span bridge on the East Coast and second heaviest in the USA.

Cianbro constructed the concrete foundations, spearheaded the fabrication, and erected three stainless steel spires for the United States Air Force Memorial.

Cianbro completed decommissioning work at the Yankee Rowe Nuclear Plant.

 Cianbro has built a 146,000 sf gaming facility; a 65,000 sf high-rise hotel; a 536,000 sf – 4 story – 1,500 space pre-cast parking garage.

Cianbro is constructing new additions to the existing bascule span piers and erecting two 195 ft, 6 inch lift span towers and a 188 ft x 32 ft lift span over the Thames River.

Cianbro is the Construction Manager (CM) for the Carousel Center Phase 1 Expansion in Syracuse, NY. Destiny rests on the site of a disbanded oil tank farm with challenging soil conditions. This expansion encompasses approximately 1.25M sf of construction, netting 800,000 sf of retail space in addition to what is currently here.

Cianbro is providing EPC services for the construction of a 34.5 kV – 115 kV substation that will concentrate and upgrade the power from the wind towers and to Central Maine Power Company’s Bigelow substation through a newly constructed transmission line.

Cianbro is constructing a 27.2 mile 115 kV transmission line from Kibby Mountain Township to Central Maine Power Company’s Bigelow Substation.
